We also know and understand that your time is precious. As such, we will create a bespoke care plan that is based on your individual needs and current health status, so ensuring you get the best results possible. Occasionally that might mean we recommended other health care professionals if that is the best option for you.

Chiropractic is the third largest primary health care profession in the world after medicine and dentistry. It is a natural, safe and scientific health care discipline that focuses on the health and wellbeing of your spine and nervous system.

It is important that the Doctors of Chiropractic at Northcote Chiropractic to complete a thorough consultation and examination to find the cause of your symptoms, as our aim is to fix the cause not just the symptom. The spine and nervous system are delicate systems and as everyone is built and lives differently, it is important to consider all factors of your health.

As Chiropractors we adjust these areas of subluxation (spinal dysfunction) in the spine, which has a positive effect on the way your body moves and feels. We find that clients who also take responsibility for their health and remain positive get better faster. We are dedicated to supporting you towards better health and in conjunction with chiropractic care, we aim to educate the local community on the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and improved quality of life for everyone within our care.

INSURANCE

Our chiropractors are registered providers with most private health insurance companies.

If you have private health insurance please call your insurer first and get a pre-authorisation for care.

Depending on your insurer they may or may not require a GP referral so make sure you ask. If they do, then make a GP appointment and ask for a referral to us. Please bring with you your aurthorisation number and insurance number so we can put it on file.

We normally take payment and give you a receipt to claim back. If we can be of any further help in regards to private health insurance please do not hesitate to call and ask one of our friendly staff, we promise not to put you on hold.

For Vitality

Before you submit a claim through Vitality, you must first complete your initial consultation, during which your chiropractor will conduct their assessment.

Following your chiropractor’s evaluation, you can use Vitality to submit claims for your upcoming visits.
