Adult First Visits to Northcote Chiro
The Initial Consultation is now in two parts and a deposit of £110 will be taken at the time of booking. This covers the cost of Part One. The cost of Part Two (Report of findings) is £70 and will be taken as a separate payment at the practice.
Part One – Consultation and Examination at Northcote Chiro (40-60mins)
With adults, upon your arrival at the practice, a Chiropractic Assistant will take postural photos and also complete a muscle, thermal and HRV (heart rate variability) scan to give us baseline data. This gives the Chiropractor vital information about the function of your spine, joints and nervous system. Your Chiropractor will then complete the chiropractic examination which may include orthopaedic, neurological and chiropractic testing, which is relative to your problem. Your Chiropractor will then explain the findings and what to expect on your report of findings visit.
When seeing babies, children and pregnancy for the first time we base our procedure of examination, diagnosis and adjustment on a case to case basis. Your chiropractor will explain what to expect after the examination phase.
Part Two – Report of findings (40 mins)
This appointment includes a video to watch as part of your care which explains how Chiropractic fits into the health care system. You will also receive your first chiropractic adjustment and any lifestyle advise needed. Your Chiropractor will explain your care plan based on your initial findings, and scans. Your care plan will include how many visits are required to achieve balance in your spine, and what/when exercises should be done at home to compliment your care.

INSURANCE PATIENTS
Our Chiropractors are covered by most major health insurance companies, the best way to find out more is to contact your health insurance provider. However here are some tips on how we work with some insurance companies.
Bupa (UK only)
Generally they ask for a referral from your GP and you will need to give us your membership number, authorisation code and the amount of sessions authorised for us to claim back from Bupa. Please note how many sessions you have been authorised for, as anything over this will be charged at our standard pay as you go adjustment rate (£48).

Vitality
