I had my first chiropractic adjustment when I was 15 years old and soon became inspired to become a chiropractor myself. I graduated from the Anglo- European College of Chiropractic in 2002 with BSc (hons) Human Sciences and MSc Chiropractic. Since graduating I have had experience working in full-time associate positions as well as locuming in various clinics in the UK. After 8 years of clinical experience I was fortunate to find a wonderful location, with my good friend and business partner Pip Hodgson, to set up Northcote Chiropractic Clinic.

As research shows, a major percentage of the health problems affecting our society today are due to lifestyle factors. This therefore means that many health problems are both reducible and preventable if we are able to understand what our bodies naturally need to get and stay well and in turn make healthier lifestyle choices. I am particularly passionate about this area of health research and am involved in ongoing personal study as well as attending regular seminars addressing natural health and wellness.

It is vital to our health and wellbeing that our spines and nervous systems function optimally. It is also vital that we introduce healthy choices as early in our lives as possible (although it is never too late to make healthy choices!). It is because of this that I have dedicated much of my post graduate study to, and have a keen interest in, working with pregnant mums, newborns and children and am currently undertaking a further 2 year certification programme in chiropractic paediatrics. I have also undertaken many hours study and attended various seminars in the areas of nutrition and rehabilitation. As well as my interest in working with mums-to-be and children, I find helping adults of all ages overcome their pain and achieve better health equally rewarding. My main goal is to empower and support each person I can in moving towards improved health in a way that is accessible and enjoyable.

Together with Pip and the rest of our team, I look forward to welcoming you to our clinic and being a part of your choice for better health.

Since childhood sport has played a big part in my life in particular hockey and tennis. It was after the disappointment of developing a back injury, shortly before important hockey trials, that led me to seek the help of a local chiropractor. After just one treatment my back pain completely resolved and I was a convert!

After 5 years of full time study at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic, I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Human Sciences and an MSc in Chiropractic.  I have since had experience as an associate in a busy clinic in Ireland, as a locum around the South East of England and as a full time associate in practices in Putney and Battersea Park.  I have also been lucky enough to become a mum to my son Louis and very much enjoy living and working between the Commons.

I enjoy attending a great diversity of Chiropractic seminars including pregnancy and paediatric Chiropractic, radiology in Chiropractic and rehabilitation of the low back. Chiropractic has also enabled me to combine my love of sport with my career and I particularly enjoy helping athletes to improve their performance and recover from sporting injuries.  I enjoy every aspect of our profession. I feel that it is integral to a healthy lifestyle and can allow the individual to achieve optimum health and fitness.

It is fantastic to work alongside a great friend and I hope that our combined enthusiasm for offering the best possible service will provide you the most beneficial of experiences in our clinic.
